What makes you passionate about working in this field?

As a Speech Language Pathologist, helping others communicate has always been my passion.

What is your (current) favorite area of assistive technology?

I love the area of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Being able to use technology to positively impact someone’s ability to express themselves and connect with others is incredibly rewarding.

When you aren't doing work with Innov-AT, what can you be found doing?

I like to read historical fiction or mystery/thrillers, travel with my family, go hiking on trails, and listen to many different genres of music.

How do you describe your role on the Innov-AT team?

I bring my experience and background in language development, communication disorders, and strategies for successful communication to the Innov-AT team.

What brings you to this field?

I became interested in Speech Language Pathology after observing two of my family receive and benefit from speech interventions of different types.

What is your superpower?

My superpower is "juggler of all schedules." With two busy teens, this power is absolutely necessary!

Is there anything else you want clients to know about you?

I am an animal lover! I love meeting new people, as well as their pets.
