Closing The Gap Webinar- Executive Functioning- Gone Digital

Executive Functioning becomes more important than ever as students work in an increasingly digital environment. File naming, managing web content and email, cleaning out folders, and staying on task are just a few of the executive functioning tasks that students may struggle with due to executive functioning deficits.

This webinar will focus on digital tools that help students stay better organized and engaged in learning. Participants will leave with tools that they can use in their instruction and in their digital environments to help support all students with executive functioning skills.

This webinar will end with a discussion of how these digital tools and methods can be blended with in-classroom supports for a more seamless transition between digital and classroom learning as students move from one environment to the other.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Participants will be able to identify at least 3 tools to support students with organization in a digital environment.
2. Participants will be able to identify 3 ways that digital learning requires different executive functioning skills than face to face learning.
3. Participants will be able to identify at least 3 tools to support students with memory while learning in a digital environment.
