Getting to know Cassie:
Cassie Frost, M.S.Ed, ATP, is the Founder and CEO of Innov-AT, an assistive technology practice serving students, adults, schools, agencies, and employers across Wisconsin. She has worked in education since 2009 and has spent more than a decade in assistive technology, doing the assessment and implementation work she speaks about. Cassie founded Innov-AT in 2022 to help adults and children with disabilities find ways to achieve their goals through the use of assistive technology.
A RESNA-certified Assistive Technology Professional and ISTE-certified educator, Cassie chairs the RESNA Professional Standards Board. Her leadership service includes chairing the Wisconsin Assistive Technology Advisory Council, serving as president of the Wisconsin Council for Exceptional Children, and co-chairing the national CEC Leadership Development Committee.
Her work centers on the gap between recommendation and daily use — the point where a device gets ordered and ends up in a drawer. She presents regularly at ISTE, ATIA, Closing The Gap, and the Council for Exceptional Children, and has also presented for PATTAN, PATINS, and SLATE.
