As part of some blog posts, I may include affiliate links.

These links are only included when they are directly connected to the topic I am talking about, but never included only because of their affiliate link. This means that my use of affiliate links does not affect my decision of which products or topics I discuss and I do not receive compensation for talking about certain products.

I do this so that it is clear that if I am talking about a tool or product, it is because I think it is truly amazing and helpful for students, not because I am being compensated.

I do, however, occasionally use affiliate links if they are available for products I am already writing about. This means that instead of using a generic link to direct you to a product or website, I use a specific link that is tied to my affiliate account. If you go to the site via my link and later decide to sign up or purchase something from that site, I will earn a referral fee. This does not cost you any extra, but does allow me to earn a small amount to offset the cost of running this site.
